A concept of Saman sangh

... "Sukha sanghass samaggi, samagganam tapo sukho" means unity of the Sangha is pleasant and the work or religious practice done in unity is pleasant. Thus we see that the concept of joining and connecting that the Samana Sangha* is following is not of today but it existed even before Lord Tathagata Samyak Sambuddha. Lord Buddha also talked about living in the Sangha. *Sangham Saranam Gachhami. The monks accepted this statement of Lord Buddha. Sangha was formed. It is still in the Sangha. But many organizations of monks are seen, unity is not visible in them too. At present, the need of monks to live together in the Sangha is also being felt. The concept of living in the Sangha among the devotees existed till the time of Emperor Ashoka. As long as we remained in the Sangha, our unity remained, we remained strong, prosperous, had land and property. Wealth and property, we remained prosperous in every way. So much so that our country was called the golden bird. But later the concept of living in a union slowly started to fade away and we became weak. We became helpless and poor. We lost our lands, wealth, our education, our society disintegrated and we all became weak, helpless and poor and we have lived such a life for thousands of years. In fact, even today such a life is being lived in villages and slums.

But with the passage of time a messiah, great man Bodhisattva Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar was born and he gave a constitution with a federal structure for the welfare of all of us. Due to which the country moved forward, we moved forward, our society moved forward, we became prosperous. We started getting educated, lost wealth and property started coming back, good houses started getting built, children started getting good jobs after getting educated, we started small scale industries, we started feeling proud, started reaching the highest positions in the state and country but at the same time we became careless and inattentive towards our old enemy. That old enemy of ours did not remain quiet continuously. He kept finding new ways to stop our progress, kept playing new tricks, so that he could implement his old Manuvadi system, capitalist system could come. But the Constitution with a federal structure made by Baba Saheb

It stood in front of us as our protective shield. But our enemy is very clever and has targeted our protective shield. The constitution is being weakened by new amendments and laws. There are even talks of abolishing the constitution. But we are all still unconscious. We are not aware and vigilant about our rights.

However, Baba Saheb had already sensed these dangers because a father tries his best to protect his children in every way and Baba Saheb also gave us three basic mantras for a successful life. Be educated, be organized, struggle. Baba Saheb told us that if you remain organized, stay in the Sangh, then your rights will remain. You will be able to protect the constitution that I have given you. But instead of getting organized, we worthless children created thirty nine lakh organizations. And became unorganized due to which our rights are slowly being lost. Efforts are being made to take us back to the place from where Bodhisatva Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar had taken us out 70 years ago. As a result of Baba Saheb's struggles, we have come to a position where we can live a life with respect. This should not be allowed to end at any cost. Therefore, my humble appeal to everyone is that now do not play organization-organization but play Sangh-Sangh for the protection of our rights and constitution. Make saving our constitution your first priority. We will have to move forward by adopting the advice of our great men, Tathagata Samyak Sambuddha, Bodhisatva Baba Saheb, Emperor Ashoka and other great saints, great men to stay in the Sangh. Only then will we be able to secure the future of our children and youth. Our future is our children and youth, so take them along and keep making them aware of the benefits of staying in the Sangh and the power gained by staying in the Sangh. So that they start staying in the Sangh from now on. For this, we will have to accept the concept of join and join of Saman Sangh. Join quickly, win quickly. -Satyashodhak Saman
