How did BR Ambedkar's time in New York and at Columbia University shape his life and legacy?

Dr Ambedkars stay in Columbia was the foundation of his future idealistic thinking. Once he asked to his teacher Prof Edwin Selingman how to study and prepare for various projects. Selingman replied You read voraciously whatever you like,you will find your own way. Dr Ambedkar studied for 18 hrs daily. Within six months he was only one student who was allowed to teachers room. Dr Ambedkar had huge discussions and arguments with his eminent teachers such as John Dewey, A. Goldenwiser ,James Shotwell,Willam Harvey Robinson and many more. His thoughtfulness in Economics (Selingman), Political science & Philosophy (Dewey), other's. Dr Ambedkar was most loving Student of all his teachers. His ideas and arguments was surprisingly impressive to his teachers. His ideas of Justice, Liberty, Equality, Fraternity,and Humanity shape up in Columbia and later on London. Buddha's wisdom make Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar more powerful than his teachers. His importance has been widely recognised in western World as compared to his motherland.
